CIO Forum & Executive IT Summit: Presenting 'Stop All IT Projects'

Date: Wednesday, November 07, 2012
Duration: All Day
About the Presentation: "Stop all IT Projects"

IT brings value to the business by supporting breakthrough initiatives that increase operational capabilities or improve efficiencies. The progressive CIO realizes this requires an organizational structure where the IT provides business knowledgeable people capable of working closely with the end user to define the processes and tools necessary to achieve the company’s goals. This necessitates a new model which places the business in the lead role in all projects and IT in a supportive position that is tightly integrated and collocated with the end user. This presentation defines:

An integrated model of project execution.
A migration path to that model.
Methods to quantify alignment.
The challenges and opportunities in making the change.
